I recently joined Amazon and this is my second day of Week 2. I am still trying to learn about the work my team does, as well as finiahing week 2 onboarding. I have every day atand ups and it feels awkward to keep saying I am working on this week's on boarding. What should I do? I have 0 idea on where to begin working. Manager has not said anything and on boarding buddy is not responding to my slack message. I am kind of nervous at this point.
Pip next week
Based on my experience from working in Amazon for over year and half, first 1-2 months is for embark plan and getting connected to as many folks as you can. Coming from outside Amazon made me realize it’s complete self-serve mental model in here. So focus on your embark plan and request your manager to let you shadow some of team members for sometime and then build a repository of your questions to ask about process and associate a POC to each question based on discussions and then throw time on their calendars. Don’t mind if the meeting gets pushed out a few times. This is product management role 2 cents. Best of luck and welcome in. You will do just fine

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
You're probably ok. First 2-3 weeks it is expected that you have no idea what you are doing. Definitely talk to manager and onboarding buddy in person to get documentation you need to be successful. You must advocate for yourself, unless you happen to be one that one in ten team that has decent up to date onboarding docs.
