Anyone know anything about the process? Joined Amazon 4 months ago, was told I'd have to go through an interview loop with 3x technical and 1x behavioral for Twitch. To initiate the process, I have to apply through the job portal, which will notify manager. Not sure if worth the risk. TC: 180k, 1.5 YOE
Why would anyone do that if they require official application first?
Potentially better to work at Twitch than the rest of Amazon: less Amazon culture, catering, unlimited PTO, etc.
Yes, but if you fail, how are you supposed to go back to your manager?
Omg is this the procedure for all of twitch? I wanted to do the same thing as you but ya don’t want to let the current manager know
It is, according to my sample size of two Twitch SDM's
Yes, 100% you have to go through a full interview loop and apply through jobfinder. Advice is to tell your manager beforehand. Source: I did this when I worked at Amazon
But how do you save face if you fail and don't get an offer?
Either you have a good rapport with your current manager, or you plan an exit on failure. You're definitely rolling the dice
