Why does the interview boasts so much about leadership principles. Had an onsite interview and the person doing the 'bar riser' interview almost intimidited me with his questions and rude behaviour. Cant a person be an IC and still add value to the company/projects .why saving cost is only important/valued but not anything else. After that conversation, i could not even concentrate on what i was talking in the rest of the interview. Why they are so obsessed with STAR format. Enforcing to be in their format but not urself.
Amazon is a sadist hell hole. People who are mentally ill and are affected by Stockholm syndrome work there longer than 2 years. Everyone else leaves after a year or two. Apply to Google Facebook LinkedIn Lyft Airbnb. You don’t want to trade your self respect for crap like Amazon.
The weak can’t make it more than 2 years.

We live and die by the LP’s. They’re real. Come up everyday, it’s how we make decisions and operate. If you can’t get onboard then find somewhere else to work.
Sadly they change the LPs periodically so my team's group tattoos of them are outdated already
Looool.
