Is Amazon management trying to increase their benefits, just like the base pay? I mean no ESPP and monthly insurance premiums add up to like $10 to $14K per year.
Amazon has Frugality as an actual Leadership Principle so they ain’t increasing *anything* unless it’s absolutely necessary - like only finally increasing new hire $$$ offers because nobody accepts their job offers whilst their PIP quotas and attrition ratios are loading anyone left with so much Ops that the services and the remaining PIP victims are all keeling over. A better 401K or holidays isn’t going to increase the offer response ratio so that will not fly. Bigger $$$ numbers to sell away your WLB and therapy and health and mental state or a sustained change in management culture are the only way. Benefits just don’t cut it.

Why does leetcode get so much hate?
They can’t have different benefits for SWE. All employees, including warehouse workers, get the same benefits. It is very difficult for Amazon to offer these benefits to over 1M employees.
I thought corporate benefits were different than non corporate
The easy solution is to give great benefits to SWE and not give them to warehouse workers
