Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon, confirmed today at the internal conference, that hiring this year has been significant and they will slow down the hiring from now onwards. TC: 550K

Depends on how bad the recession gets. We do have budget for 2023 right now. So some hiring will happen but how much depends on how much recovery the economy does. If things get bad with a recession, we will only fill priority needs and general hiring will be pretty much zero
