Is the lunch buddy considered another interview? And are button up / chinos ok for attire? BA interview Thank you
I had an onsite interview at Amazon in Seattle before but it wasn’t during lunch hour. What I heard from others who had onsite interviews tell me that the interview during lunch was to gauge your personality and attitude in addition to asking you questions. I would dress business casual to be safe so a button up and chinos should be fine.
Lunch buddy is the bar raiser if you ended going to a pub
Lunch buddy is not an interviewer.
I usually wait till they get a mouthful of food then hit 'em with an NP hard problem
Lunch buddies aren't part of the interview loop, don't enter feedback into the hiring tool, and don't participate in debriefs (where the decision is made). They exist solely to improve the candidate experience by providing a less formal opportunity for the candidate to learn about working at the company. Don't stress it, enjoy the free lunch, and ask all the questions you wouldn't ask Blind or your interviewers.
A lunch buddy won't give feedback unless you do something awful at lunch, like be racist, assault someone, stuff like that
Lunch buddy is not an interview; it’s just lunch and you can ask them questions about what it’s like to work here. Amazon has no dress code; feel free to wear whatever you want.
I’m sure you can wear whatever you wish when you work at Amazon. Are you saying Amazon has no dress code for interviews?
Would a suit be too much?
