Is there anyone here who works in Amazon’s Irvine office? How is the wlb, the quality of life there? Do you live in Irvine proper or somewhere around? Is the base salary cap also $160k there? I have a phone screen scheduled for a consulting position with AWS.

Any recommendation for TC for Sr. AWS SA? I don’t think Irvine is cheap. Modest houses are $1M+.

Irvine is cheap Base cap is $185k
What do you mean? Unless you’re comparing with the Bay, Orange County is not cheap.
Base cap is 160k outside of SF and NYC
