I’m currently working at Apple with TC 200k Currently received offers from Intel, Amazon and Micron. Intel and Amazon still have to get back with the numbers. Location: Bay Area YOE: 5 Current TC: 200k Micron offer : TC 250k (190k base +10% bonus + $40k/ year RSU Intel offer: ?? Amazon offer: ?? How much TC can I expect at Amazon for L5? The interviews went pretty well. Can I push the offer for L6? I interviewed with lab126 and Annapurna labs teams. Which org would be better in terms of growth and compensation? Which one would have deeper pockets? TIA #interview #offers #amazon #Annapurnalabs #Intel #microncompensation #apple
Once you interview for l5 it's impossible to push for l6. The level must be determined before the interview.
Sometimes if a candidate exceeds L5, we push for L6 onsite interview
Micron offer is on the high end for E4 (Base and RSU).
Can I ask for G8 at Intel?
I’m surprised with Micron pay, it’s not bad at all. Looks like the semis are starting to pay up.
Micron WLB is so much better than Amazon
I would not join Annapurna. And you won’t get L6 and don’t expect more than 315k. But your WLB will be so bad and you will hardly get to make any decision. Plus there is always PIP. Think twice before joining Amazon.
Here is my Austin Amazon L5 offer for reference Base : 180k First year sign On : 170k Second year sign on : 130k RSUs : 102 Yoe: 7 Total Target compensation: 368k
Is this for SW position?
It's HW DV
Wow! For E4 that offer is really good. Is this the initial offer or adjusted as per your other offers?
Initial offer
400k
Can I push for L6? The recruiter mentioned that the feedback is fantastic.
no, L6 is another story. they won't entertain it for external candidates with 5yoe unless from another faang
