Amazon L5 vs Google L4 vs Snap L4
I have 3 positive feedbacks from Amazon, Google and Snap. I wanted to know if I can ask for an up level at either of these places TC-200
Google sees 5 as a different job than 4 so it's very rare because you're expected to be a high performer to achieve 5 in your career
Lol, really? Well I guess if you hire subpar engineers 5 becomes a challenge. Also, Snap L4 TC > Google L5 TC.
If every company leveled you equally after interview then that’s probably what you are. Be careful asking for an up level and setting yourself up for failure because you’re not ready yet. L5 to L6 at Amazon is a big jump and an up level post interview is not possible for this reason
No upleveling will not happen. They interviewed you and found you to be at that level. (And all of them are equal so it looks like they were right)
Snap L4 is going to blow the other 2 offers away.

This will backfire at Amazon. Work hard for promo. Get 🥜 because you're already within the next band
Snap 100%. Amazon is a nightmare and youll make more money at Snap than either.
Google matched my Snap L4 for year 1. Remember Snap doesn’t have stacking refreshers.
