Amazon L6 to Google L4 Salary Expectations
I've received approval from hiring and executive committees after my Google interview for non-tech Program Manager role. In the process of a team match at the moment. Will be moving from Seattle. My questions are: 1. What is the TC for L4 at Google that I should expect for Mt. View? 2. Does Google do sign-on bonus? 3. Suggestions on what to negotiate on. Thanks!

Amazon l6 is definitely Google l5. Why did you agree to join L-1. Promotion is scarce and ugly battle here. I would definitely negotiate level before joining.
I was told leveling is done based on interview performance. Google hasn't made the offer yet, they'll do after the team fit
Up to you. Working condition is way better than Amazon but forgot about your career growth. To answer your question 1) range is 250-350 2) yes 3) you can only negotiate if you have other offers from good brands.
Why do you want downgrade yourself? Was it a dream for you to work at Google? TC will also be lower and Google will ask you for proof of your other offer so don't make one up.
Probably will make more than at amazon. OP, are you a non tech program manager now and what is your TC and YOE?

Not sure if things has changed but Google does not really negotiate if you don't have a competing offer so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
