Amazon Ops vs. Walmart E-comm
Hi guys. I recently started working at Amazon in their operations dept. Walmart just came in and improved their offer quite a bit. The dept will probably be the same and a better location. Should i quit amazon now? Within 3 weeks? Also, here is the kicker - in the future, u want to go work at a bank. I’ll cater my resume accordingly but will it be better to have amazon or walmart there?
Walmart doesn't treat employees well. One example, during the last 2.5 years in the pandemic most companies gave mental day-offs, Walmart gave ZERO days off. In fact we worked overtime. We do stress testing during off peak hours, which is nights and weekends. I literally work every minute I am not dropped to sleep, I eat on my desk, I don't get time to bath during weekdays. No time to exercise, or taking care of yourself or your family. In spite of all of this my manager is always angry. This is all true verbatim, no exaggeration.

Nashville TC will last you further than that TC in New Jersey/NY area. Amazon’s name is way, way better on a resume than Walmart. Stay here :-)
What’s your current TC and one offered by Walmart? Without that, how do you expect valid responses here?
Amazon TC is around 120k in Nashville, Walmart TC is around 150k in New Jersey
