Based on a previous post (re: joining Amazon), a few folks messaged me over the weekend to ask about preparation tips. Here’s my list - - Youtube videos by “Dan Croitor” and “CareerVidz” (search for Amazon Interview, Amazon LPs, etc) - Eclectic videos on PM - Dave Wascha, Sachin Rekhi, etc. - PM functional knowledge - essays by Sachin Rekhi, Adam Nash, First Round Capital, etc. - Decode and Conquer - wasn’t too helpful for Amazon, but a good read - Grokking the System Design on educative.io (worth the $50) - and of course, a lot of work stories in STAR format mapped to LPs TC - ~400K YoE - 7+ Position - Principal Product Manager - Tech (L7)
Was this for AWS or another Amazon team?
Non-AWS
Thanks for sharing this
Thanks
What level was this for? L5 or L6?
Updated. L7
Thx you. Interviewed for Sr. Supply chain mgr (L6) but inclined for PMT L5 (down leveled). Thinking to re-interview for PMT L6 after cool off period. Worth doing it? I’ll use this list to prepare.
OP - were you asked product design questions in the onsite?
System design - yes!

What all questions to expect from an interviewer who is a sr. Data scientist ? How data scientists evaluate a PMT candidate?
