Amazon Prime Video Onsite interview
Hello, I have an onsite interview with Amazon Prime Video in 2 weeks. What kind of questions can I expect ? Any suggestions regarding the interview would be appreciated. 1 YOE Role @amazon: sde 1
I had an onsite for sde2 for APV I over estimated the technical parts of it and messed up on the behavioral parts. Be prepared with superb stories showing how much of an mvp you are.
Second. Technical part was decidedly NOT hard.

Questions: 1) Your coworker made a mistake but soon corrected it without issues and impact to customers, business or important metrics. What will you do? (Correct Answer: Throw him under the bus) 2) A team launched something and the next day you were asked about the status even if you didn’t work on it. What will you do? (Correct Answer: Steal the fame and glory) 3) You need to get shit done but a higher customer need is blocking your lower priority work. What do you do? (Correct Answer: Play politics) Congratulations, you’re hired.
Sounds like the ideal Amazon team to join
I would do more Leetcode mediums and read amazon leadership principles

Idk I spent a long time reading the leadership principles before my interview and I feel like they ended up being pretty normal behavioral questions. If you can come up with examples of how you dealt with adversity (in a generally reasonable way) I think you're good to go- so either you're good at remembering scenarios quickly or you prep some good examples. Of course there is some amazon specific ideals like frugality so would be good to at least look through, but in my experience the leadership principles was mostly just general behavioral and exaggerated.

I had 3 technical and 1 system design rounds. Questions were LC medium.

I have my onsite in 10 days. For SDE role. It says for a 2 years exp person
