Amazon Product Manager TC/Pay (L6)
Do salary bands range differently per #amazon #product team or are they consistent throughout based on leveling? I’ve connected with two teams (Key & AWS) for a a Senior Tech PM roles. The TC that has been thrown around for L6: Key PMT 305K in TC AWS Last Mile PMT 325K in TC (Max) I put Key on pause & withdrew from AWS to prioritize other opportunities (such as Meta) because of higher pay. I now have a 3rd Amazon hiring manager who has reached out about a very exciting opportunity at Alexa. Both of these are below my last TC & was wondering if this TC is expected? Is this really the highest they can go? I’ve taken a look at Levels.FYI data & believe they can go much higher for L6. Should I temper my expectations & accept this is the max TC at Amazon? Or keep chatting with different Amazon teams (fyi, they’re seeking me vs. vice versa). The most important thing for me is for break into MAANG. However I don’t want to be tempted 1 or 2 years from now if I were to accept lower TC than what I think I’m worth. I’m targeting $425K-$450K in next role. Perhaps only consider L7 roles from here on out or double down at Meta. Thoughts? YOE: 12 (10 in Product) Location: Austin, TX Better L7 TC: $340K (Base 209K, 15% Bonus, $400K RSU) P.S. I’m in no rush to take a job, fortunately my severance from layoff & savings can afford me some time to travel & interview for a few months. I care more about making the right decision vs. the first offer I receive as I have bounced a bit in last 3 years.

Is $400k value of stock given our SPAC valuation? If so, I'd realistically cut that value in half
Definitely, it was more to demonstrate the TC when I joined. Many other companies valuation has been cut substantially in this market, we all know the state of Better (far far worse).
Your non tech l6 offer is really high! Pmt I think can go up to 400
