How is it? What kind of work do they do? And is the culture just as toxic as bad as it gets in amazon? Wlb?
From learning perspective, not so good. High attrition since the last 1 year. Currently has avg SDEs and ASs. They basically find and fix defects on Amazon's detail page. SDEs maintain platforms and there is a science team which creates ML models. Management is avg and not toxic. They do have a PE who is amazing but all the good SDE3s left. Wlb is fine (30-40 hrs a week). Culture is not toxic but you won't be too motivated at times. Although once you get in, you can look for other teams as well. The Sr. Manager(soon to be director) is great but you probably won't interact much with him. He boomeranged to Amazon after spending some time at Rubrik as Director of Engineering. Joining RBS is a safe bet to get in Amazon. But don't stay there for too long.
