Amazon Recruiter ghosted after verbal offer
One of the Amazon recruiters have ghosted me when after giving me a verbal offer since 3 days. I even talked to the Hiring Manager and he openly welcomed me in his team and was quite excited to have me on board. But soon after this the HR has stopped replying to my mails. I have a competing offer in hand so I need to confirm the offer soon. Should I mail the hiring manager or wait for the HR to come back keeping in mind I have only a couple of days before the competing offer expires! P.S. don't these recruiters(specially Amazon recruiters) realise that their actions might affect someone's career and life! YOE: 2 years Location: Amazon Seattle
Why not email the recruiter and cc the manager for visibility?

You're about to email the hiring manager and not include the recruiter. At least include the recruiter in the comms. Also are you emailing the Client Lead Recruiter or your original Sourcing Recruiter?

How long has it been since the verbal offer? I had this happen to me, verbal, then followup on the phone, few emails once a day from recruiter with updates. And then 3 days of radio silence. And then finally a confirmation with written offer. It took them longer to get approvals and were silent during that time.
Did you ping the recruiter during those 3 days to get the status. Since I have another offer which is due for expiration tomorrow, I need to know if the offer is confirmed or not.
I pinged them daily, politely asking for an update and expressing interest. No reply until she had confirmation and responded with an intent to send the letter. And then the letter.
Lol amazon recruiters don't care about you
Could be possible that the recruiter has left the company. Doesn't hurt to mail the HM
