Amazon SDE Intern vs Microsoft Firmware Intern
Got a Firmware Intern offer from msft, and Amazon SDE Intern offer. I'm trying to maximize new grad return offer and appeal to other unicorns when I'm a senior. I heard that Amazon's intern return offer is really low. Microsoft's is a bit higher for software, I'm not sure about firmware. #Amazon #Microsoft #Hardware #Software

My friend, who was a 2x intern received 152 average TC over 4 years for SWE in Austin. They pay the same in Austin/Seattle, so they have probably the very best offer in this city.
Bruh the Amazon return offer rate is like 70-80% with it probably being closer to 80%. I actually don’t personally know anyone who didn’t get a return offer last summer. I feel this is more of a question of whether or not you want to do firmware in your career since unless you get Amazon Robotics or Lab126, you probably won’t touch firmware
