I have an Interview for Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon. The last time I had the interview all were based on leadership principles plus 1 on large scale system design. Is it still the same now I.e. they expect TPMs to design a system in 45 minutes similar to software engineers? I had onsite for Google and FB recently and they did not ask Anu System Design so was curious. Please tell any useful tips too! It’s for the “Last Mile Technology” team. Also they told that it’s a “Business Phone Screen”. Have heard this the first time. What do they ask during the interview? TC $300K
300k is out of band for L6 TPM. You need to interview for Principal TPM roles or maybe manager TPM to get that comp.
Also have one coming up, for the Pittsburgh office. Are sr. Tpm candidates expect to code on a white board? Or just system design like everyone said? Thanks!
Any feedback insight on the interview for senior technical program manager? What was it like? What was the expectation.
Following.. please let us know how the interview went. Have one coming up for me soon

TPMs are expected to have a degree of technical expertise, so a systems design question is almost certain. TPMs aren't utilized here the same way they are at Google and Facebook. That said, it would be a Christmas miracle to get a $300k offer for an L6 TPM unless you mind fuck the interview.
