I have interviewed @ for a L6 TEchnical Program manager position but didn’t make it in the in-person. It’s been >6.5 months - can I reapply?
Thanks piora I believe my interview went well except for a Technical interview which I know I could have done better. Would you have a recruiter contact that could assist me in re applying for a similar role? Either way, thanks for the input - much helpful
I would say just apply, or use hired.com or something - if there are no red flags they will reach put.
Just to add, strong no hires are rare in my experience. Source: tpm l6 who has done >30 interviews and not once has anyone even suggested/debated strong no hire. It's not a lot of data, just my experience

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
You can re-apply, and there are two options: 1) You could have been marked as a strong no hire and will have a low, but some chance to get another interview or 2) You’r profile could have been recycled which would trigger recruiters reaching out in a year, but you could re-apply earlier with better chance to get an interview than “strong no hire” candidate.
Can you tell more about the second one? What does recycle means? Have attended Amazon onsite few years ago but didn’t get the offer, but periodically get interview calls since then.
It basically means you are not fit at that particular team, but revisit your profile in 12 month. 12 month is not a hard rule.
