So I am told that feedback is positive for L6 Sr. Prog Mgr (Non Tech). It has been sometime now and recruiter not answering my calls/mails. Pinged a few Amzn recruiters for a matching role on linkedin, no response. Got contacted by a headhunter for a similar role now. What should I do? Should I wait for the shortlist, then request the headhunter to connect me with the recruiter so I tell them that my team match/ offer is pending rather than re-interviewing? If I tell now only, headhunder wont forward my CV for the cooling off period (even if it's not hard & fast). How to leverage this? Fed up of this long wait.

You are basically on a pipeline which will fill roles as they become available…. So the recruiter just has you in line…. Thing is HMs are getting tired of getting leftover candidates that they didn’t interview so they circumvent and hire internals who they can atleast vet…. Not saying that this is a good look but it’s what’s happening on our team. The externals don’t last a year, have a hard ramp so from a bandwidth perspective it’s easier to hire from the internals that have some runway and know the ropes and the backstabbing
