I was invited to complete 3 rounds (45 mins each) virtual interview for Amazon SDE1 New Grad position. The 3rd interviewer had to cancel due to conflict in the schedule and I've done only first two rounds. The 3rd one is scheduled next week. The first two rounds were seem easy to me. I think out-loud when I code the problem and constantly communicate with my interviewer and was able to correctly code the given problems. My question is that what should I expect from last round? Is it a bar raiser where interviewer asks medium to hard problem or is it similar to previous two rounds? Thank you
Format should be similar. Expect different types of LP questions. You may not interview with a BR - BR might be running the debrief meeting and making final decision.
Thank you. I was not sure if 3rd round was designed to be a BR.
I didn't apply through new grad (though im.being sorted into there due to 1YOE) should I expect BR with physical onsite?
What's virtual interview?
They interview new grads through video conferencing without onsite.
Interviewer is human or Alexa?
Ofcourse an Amazon engineer :)
Maybe not far away to use a robo interviewer!
**UPDATE** The final round of interview was done by an Engineering & Product Leader where he asked a difficult DP question :( and didn't give me any hint even though I asked for a hint. I tried to solve it in 30 minutes but couldn't come up with a complete solution. I think that's it, the journey ends here.
