Naughty Microsoft and Amazon employees getting busted for participating in human trafficking. https://www.engadget.com/2017/12/25/amazon-microsoft-employees-sex-trafficking-sting/ As freely as some of the men on Blind admit they use escorts, this sort of thing should not be too surprising.

Why doesn't OpenAI offshore and reduce expense by 80%
No one “participated in human trafficking”. Some guys saw foreign hookers. They were in the country on their own free will (because they can make wayyyy more money in a tour here). Zero harm was done to anyone, but the police want to claim a victory and press are happy to play along with clickbait crap like this.
Interesting! Any idea how ruined one's career is if you get caught doing this?
They created a PR problem for their company, their names are public(?), they’re screwed. As far as getting a new job, if they have some sort of “sex trafficking” crap on their record, who would hire them?

I am pretty sure Amazon will disrupt this Industry and legalizing prostitution is on their list.. 😀 Frankly, if prostitution was legal, sex trafficking will not be a huge problem. Europe has legal brothels.. in a true democratic society, church and state are separate. Freedom of choice. But it is easier for the law to go after the demand side of things and not the supply. Isn’t that why marijuana was finally legalized? More TAX money... Anyway, anyone who pays for sex should really get some help. Lol These dudes need to Work on their social skills and hit the bars to find some free sex.
Why is it so frowned upon to pay a professional for sex? We pay professionals for all other kinds of things, why not that? Don't you ever want to be fucked by someone who is good at it?
But that’s the thing - sex trafficking ISN’T a huge problem in the US. It’s practically non-existent in this country but it’s still used as a justification for targeting consensual prostitution.
Well, I think one should not pay for water, air or sex.. lol but i do see your point about getting it from a pro pause for vs amateurs for free. Again, freedom of choice.
Have you seen some of the people you work around in the tech industry? Of course they have to pay for sex....
Haha! If it was not for porn and jacking off. Some of the geeks will never have sex.
Not this shit again.. I honestly think it's the same account posting these just to stir shit up. Do you people have nothing better to do?
"the industry's patronage of brothels", how pathetic. This is how Mallory says "I hate, hate, hate IT!". Anyone who writes it on an IT-related site sounds a bit... unprofessional
Old news?
Oh I see now. Guess I've missed the good stuff over the Holliday week
I remember having this conversation with a Uber driver in Seattle a few months ago.
