Was exploring Amazon while checking order status. Filters on Amazon are really tricky for me. They give weird results sometimes. 1. In images, shoes are of prices more than filters. There are no seller option for any of the product that falls under this price. 2. Usually filters show X results, sort the result and number of result changes. How sorting changes number of result? 3. Recently they removed option for Warehouse seller. I love Amazon as a consumer. But of late it's really getting annoying on occasions. Similar experience of Prime Videos. Netflix has much better user experience. Most of the selections of Prime are from with ads. Not great customer experience IMHO.
Flipkart is way better in terms of filtering search results
Not defending the filters, wondering if other sellers or used for the same product are being sold at the filtered price ? Or maybe the product has size based pricing ? The UI results could've been clearer though !
OP, sometimes the product has multiple SKUs (colors, size etc etc) so its possible within that shoe listing, there is a color that is lower price than the others and that is why its showing up.
Very politely, that's not the case. I checked already. I am not here to bash Amazon filter in anyway, trust me. I actually tried everything you and others said thinking something can be a miss, but that's not the case. Also this has actually pushed me to use Walmart, Google and even Temu more. Filters are dumb and straight forward there. They show what you ask for. Whereas Amazon does what they want irrespective of what you are asking for.
Amazon filters piss me off every time I use them.
Amazon filters are crap. In many cases you cannot even filter by weight. I wanted to filter bikes by weight, but on some oages the filter was not available, and on some pages it worked like crap. More sophisticated filters are even worse. Good like trying to filter any computer hardware.
True. I think in past few months filters are scary part of Amazon app. Sometimes over engineering of simple feature can be lethal I guess.

Any Indians Think Kashmir Should be Independent?
Actually customers don’t use filters anymore. They use Search.
Good point. Will explore that as well.
Even that doesn't work.
