PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
I was able to finish the first problem with all test cases passing. The second problem I only passed a couple of the test cases but explained my approach and what I’d need to do to finish the problem. Do you think this is a pass or fail?
Update here when you find out :)
You will probably have a follow up phone screen unless you are H1b they will probably advance you to virtual onsite
Thanks for your response, I’m us based
I can share my experience- I passed all tests on my first problem, and I missed a few tests on my second one. Probably some edge cases. But in the end they gave me an offer.
They gave you an offer directly after the online assessment?
No, had to go through the interview process.
How many LCs did you do to prep?
I don't remember how many I did before the online assessment, but by the time I did the virtual on site, I finished about 40 LC questions. Most of them were mediums
Question for you. How does it work? Can you run your python solution on their platform much like on LC?
I had the same situation for my online OA. Passed the first problem with all test cases, it was probably an easy-medium. Second one was a hard for sure. I got the some cases but tried to explain it well. I moved on to the next phase.
Thanks for your response!
I passed all tests for both questions for SDE2, and did “not pass”
If youre interviewing for Sde 2, please ask that youd want to have a phone i terview instead. They are willing to do that. I did that and went all the way to onsite.
After I asked my recruiter for feedback as to why I failed, to which he said he didn’t get feedback, he said next time I could do a phone interview if I’d like... I guess a phone interview is better because you actually have a chance to explain yourself, but it’s more of a commitment for me. Is the phone interview 45 mins or an hour and 30 minutes like the assessment? I also learned a few days ago that the assessments are contracted out to a 3rd party for review, which is kind of annoying. Are the phone interviews contracted out?
Update: So I took this coding assessment oct 10 and still have not heard back from my recruiter. My application still says under consideration on the internal site. Any idea when I’ll hear back?
I took an online assessment yesterday and the recruiter reached out today to tell me I’m moving on to a phone interview. First question 12/13 test cases, second question 7/7. I fucked up and didn’t have time to finish my explanation for question 2 I would definitely reach out to your recruiter.. if they don’t respond I’d honestly just assume you’re getting ghosted.
Wouldn’t he archive the app if that was the case?
