Why doesn't OpenAI offshore and reduce expense by 80%
Recently got a rejection email from amazon and it ticked me off but after calming down a bit just want to know why they don't provide feedback? Any other reason than the volume of candidates they interview since companies like Google do provide detailed feedback? #amazon
OP I faced the same few days back after going through 6 interview loop, getting a templated email of rejection felt bad. I emailed recruiter back asking for some feedback so that it can help in future attempts or in Job search in general but it was not answered.
I'm quoting Amazon MGHD training to best of my memory, "People don't take feedback in the good spirit and it's not worth sharing". That is should be first documented sign of toxicity to every new joiner at Amazon.
MGHD is making great hiring decision. It's training that one needs to take before becoming interviewer at Amazon.
So it's not due to some candidate overflow but mostly about some stone age generalization. Got it. I wanted to write an angry email back to the recruiter about wasting my time but it doesn't seem worth it now.
