Been 2 weeks since my second phone interview with Amazon hiring manager and no response. I’m based in London so I’m dealing with EU recruiting. I emailed my recruiter and no response. Whole process has been ongoing since March. Shambles. Is this a bad sign? What should I do?
I still haven’t heard back from an Amazon onsite I did a few years ago. The feeling was mutual.
Wow, even after an onsite that's brutal. My hope is dwindling, I had a lot riding on this opportunity lool sigh.
DM me and I can find out.
Head to an Amazon Go store and give the people there your feedback
Amazon is notorious for this
I don’t deserve this, I bet Netflix wouldn’t do this to me
I'm sorry to hear that. 2 weeks is highly unusual. I heard back from my recruiter 2 hours after my onsite last year (US). The longest wait I've seen is one week. I don't want to be a bearer of bad news but have you checked your spam folder?
Their process even in the US is VERY slow, but so is Google's from my experience. One advice I got from Blind during my Amazon interviews was to keep following up. Every week send an email to the recruiter. Absolutely no harm comes from it, on the contrary you finally get responses.
I did an internship at Google and their recruitment process was flawless imo, I had a great experience with them. I'll keep emailing Amazon though, you're right no harm done.
