Not sure about business, but from tech perspective Metaverse is sounds exciting. So it's sad to hear Limp's views, but do you think a lot of dissonance around Metaverse is because of web3/crypto/NFT bros jumping on the project with their own takes and overall confusing everyone? Isn't Metaverse just computer graphics on VR hardware from tech perspective? Why is it interesting to you if you aren't specialized in CG or embedded systems?
Isn't Google Search just Ctrl+f on steroids? 😄 Jokes aside, It's a centralized VR platform with multiple upcoming fun projects and video games. To each their own, but I am looking forward to trying out some of their apps.
Yes, the search itself is not technically interesting if you aren't doing recommendation systems.
Why are you always posting stuff about Meta on Blind, on a Saturday night nonetheless?
Google News notifies me of all Metaverse news. Apparently clicking two articles in the past is enough to engrave my interest. 😂
Doesn’t matter if it’s interesting from a tech perspective. Only people who actually care about tech give af. I’m in tech and still don’t care. The majority of people like to experience things as much as possible in the flesh. We escape because there are problems we can’t get around or deal with. The metaverse is another stupid direction aimed at profits over solving actual problems in the world we are losing.
