Amazon hiring fired employees as contractors?
One of my friend got fired in Jan and recently he received an offer for a contractor position(though a consulting company ) at Amazon- same job role(but different org). How low can Amazon go? This sounds really ridiculous #layoff #amazon #tech #techcareer #dataanalytics

Maybe your friend actually performed well and Amazon is trying to keep its stock up by laying off people and increasing contractors. Also, it's a different org so they might have a higher need than his previous role.
