Hello Blind, It's true, Amazon is now back on the hiring grind, I heard recruiters making calls and recruiting other people, look at the Amazon jobs website! My DMs are open for referrals (Increases chances by 50%)! #Amazon
But are they giving 400K for sde 2?
Only for Bay area or NYC. For Seattle, TC range is 252k - 325k
Still not much in NoVA though
You'll know companies are back to hiring when they start hiring more recruiters.
rumors of msft hiring contract recruiters but we dont know for sure yet
IDK. They used to reach out to me 2-3 times a week before freeze but haven't reached out yet since.
Indeed; 17 Amazon recruiters pinged me last year, but total silence since last Oct.
Hire to fire!
They sent rejected email after online assessment for senior software engineer? I had all the test cases pass When I asked the recruiter she said she had a manual assessment done and don’t have exact details. Is it because i used sys out at some places for hints before submitting or her org stopped hiring? Also how long is cool off period?
OA does not have cool down period usually. Different title is also without cooldown. Amazon rules
@godaddt Usually? How do you know if there is a cooldown
Sadists and masochists take note!
Yeah. Hiring isn't increasing at all.
Their bar is tooooo high after hiring freeze was lifted. They have left lot of offered candidates hanging without any answers cos now they do not meet the bar. They want perfect candidates who have done exceptionally well.
Agreed. They have absolutely INSANE requirements that are left up to the HMs and a lot of the time their leadership adds even more. I was laid off a while back and I did an informal boomerang loop that went well but the thing that made them pass along with another team was that I didn't have top talent as part of my last review. I was the year prior but just a level lower in my last year. Teams are only hiring if the candidate has every single thing they are looking for
Yeah they're trying to backfill all of the talent that left due to RTO.
No, not really. A lot of that loss is just being considered attrition they won't backfill.
