My bf just started at Amazon and when he was requesting the laptop and other misc hardware, IT said that he needs to hold onto the boxes indefinitely. It'll be the same boxes he uses to return the hardware if he quits. Anyone else experience this? Did you actually keep the boxes? Seems like a waste of space to me. TC: 158K YOE: 2 #hybrid #amazon
Frugal af. If you donāt wanna be bothered just throw them out. Theyāll send you boxes if he quits or upgrades later. No way they donāt.
Yeah same here and that box is huge
Oh boy
They want to repackage it in 6 months to look new for the next guy š¤”
That same box is likely used an avg of 3 times in a year š
Throw the box out if you donāt want it and buy another to ship it back? Seems like a pointless complaint here. BF will likely be PIPed if you donāt align with the LPs.
What is the penalty if you donāt return the box? $10 ?
Pip?
Haha
That moment when you realized youāre hired for the PIP target
They sent me a box when I left no problem. But I really donāt think itās a big ask to hold onto a box to easily ship stuff back if youāre WFH. I personally would prefer keeping it thrown in a closet to ship back easily down the road instead of waiting for an empty box be sent to me. People complain about the weirdest things on blind.
It's hard for people with small studios etc. Show some empathy.
