Amazon lying on its own comp philosophy and screwing employees

Every year around March-April they allocate RSUs for outlook years(next two years). It seems this year they only allocated RSUs for 2024 and not 2025. So all Amazon recruiters lied when they said that Amazon will add RSUs if your comp falls below TCT. Lie 1: we add RSUs to match comp for current year if stock falls Lie 2: we add RSUs to for two outlook years every year. Amazon officially stepping away from its own comp philosophy. Amazonian’s will soon disclose their comp philosophy videos out to expose Amazon’s dishonest business practices.

They already confirmed to business insider that they cut 2025 grants (slashed outlook year 2 grants). So we don’t need to expose them when they’ve admitted it

They want you to quit. It is a bunch of lies. Don’t wait around for next year. They’ll continue to lie while not delivering results. Half the orgs are money pits that have no promise of ever turning a profit. It’s cheaper for Andy to pull this BS, then pay for a bunch of severance.

It's no surprise that many companies are cutting TC due to a global recession. If you are at Amazon and don't like it, no one is making you stay. There are 300,000 unemployed techies who would be happy wi4h Amazon TC.

Can you explain Amazon stock grants? Most other companies are pretty simple - “here’s the # of shares you’re granted, you get them over the next 4 years” but I don’t really get the process at amazon or how it changed?
