Hi all Is it true that, Amazon offers just 10 days as PTO ?
Depends on location and tenure. In your first year you'll probably get 16 days which are accrued over time (not given upfront).
How hard is it to ask for remote in the first year
It's common but it all depends on your manager. If you join under a shitty manager you can look for a remote team to transfer to. A lot of teams are not remote on paper, but no one ever goes into the office. There are even "in office" teams where everyone lives in a different country lol!
It’s only 10 PTO days plus 6 personal days for the first year. They add 5 more PTO days years 1-6 and max out at 20 PTO days for 6+ years. They also only have 7 paid holiday’s, which is extremely low.
California gets 18 in first year
