Does anyone know what I can expect for comp at Amazon for a senior financial analyst? The ranges on Glassdoor seem to vary a lot and don't seem reliable based on the current changing market rates. Currently interviewing and it seems like a long process without even knowing if it'll be worth it. #corpfinance #finance #amazon #amazoncompensation
Low as 160k High as 180k All in
Just to be annoying, my last TCT was $186k, but I have the MBA designation
@PayFinMore mind sharing your location? And were you hired as an SFA or got promoted from FA to SFA leading to a $186k TC? Thanks!
ask 200k total. Google pays 255k amazon used to pay 160k since 2015 (or before), i think they revised recently, but idk what level they settled.
Google is definitely not 255k TC standard for an SFA
Are you quoting seattle or bay area numbers?
5 YOE. I've worked in public accounting (audit), consulting, and private equity.
Was SFA during 2016-2019 and bringing in $170-190k roughly. Recent comp increase might have pushed that higher.
Adding to others, recently had an offer at $175k TC in a T2 city.
I got offered back in 2019, but was down leveled to a financial analyst and the offer was about $120k TC, with a $92k base
What location?
This was based on either Oregon or las Vegas. Was in fulfillment
Around $160K TC
Why does it seem like a long process?
A simulation and personality test, 2 different phone screens, "the loop" interview is basically 6-8 1 hr long interviews back to back. PLUS 3ish weeks in between each step for scheduling. It's absurd.
That’s like all tech companies (I’m currently signed onto blind with my old company)
$160-170k TC - you can squeeze in at L6 with 4 YOE if you interview really well, otherwise it’s minimum 5 years.
160k
Is that base or all in?
All in
