Amazon sidewalk wtf? Hackable wifi through echo/ring?
If someone hacks me through sidewalk would amazon bear liability? And no way to opt out if you wait till June 8th? Should i switch to apple homepod, given apple values privacy a bit? Please pip whoever top manager came with that idea

If you read the whitepaper, it's actually just an encrypted bridge to AWS. It's design isn't meant to exfil data outside a network. That being said, it theoretically could be a security risk if there was a way to tamper with the hardware, but at that point all physical access is sudo access.
