I'm a nontech pgm in learning and development. Currently laid off. Based in Washington, D.C. I don't care about RTO, im fine with it. 3 offers: 1. Tiktok: TC without RSUs ~225k = non technical pgm level 2-2 I think, 200 base, 80k RSUs that are paper money, 12.5% bonus. Washington DC based. 2. Dropbox: TC WITH public RSUs 200k = nontech pgm, 160 base, 32K in RSUs total so per year 8k, 20% bonus, TC ~192k+RSUs (8k) = 200k. 3. Amazon 168k year 1 = nontech pgm, base: 130, stock / yr = 3k, bonus 35k #bytedance #amazon #tiktok #dropbox People say TikTok WLB sucks. idk maybe I'll just push back a lot and try to maintain 40-50 hour workweek and see if they pip me.
Jump on that tik tok offer immediately. Congrats!
Don't join amazon.
Dropbox seems like a no brainer. Wfh, and chill. Only 25k less
A lot of the complaints about TikTok wlb are from people in the Bay Area. DC is totally different
Do you think Learning and Development opportunities in Meta are dead or do you just don’t want to work there anymore?
They are dead. Whole orgs were cut.
id take tiktok if you can get them to up the cash and reduce rsus
WLB could be sucks anywhere (or even anytime), stick with the money can make you feel better… lol
Congratulations! You don’t share level for Dropbox and Amazon. Why is Amazon so low?
Is Dropbox for ic4?
