Crossed a line with my boss
Not sure how much traction this will get considering most grocers wouldn't like Amazon gaining any data from them. But still smaller chains might sign on. https://www.theinformation.com/articles/amazon-ramps-up-plans-for-instacart-like-service-in-u-s-europe
Amazon fresh has been around for a while
I think this is basically to sign up non Amazon stores. Smaller players might sign on if terms are better than Instacart. Or just to get more orders.
Yea same model as Amazon core product which adds sellers to distribute via their network. RIP Instacart

Grocery stores don't like Amazon, they probably won't do it because of data-related issues
Can confirm. They were the enemy here; for a while we refused to purchase SaaS apps hosted in AWS and in some cases forced vendors to deploy their services on Azure/GCP 🤣
Yeap, I've heard that SaaS services, like Afresh, are on Azure b/c of those requirements
Sounds like it’ll boost non-amazon’s collaboration with Instacart
Amazon is really trying to kill other businesses..
Is that where the Instacart President heading?
RIP Instacart. I order off amazon groceries exclusively these days. It’s a great service
Yep same, so much better than instacart and excellent prices.
But it isn’t instant(cart) right?
Amazon fresh is still free. Also instacart is way more than 10 dollars in delivery fees if you count this mark-up and random fees that they add.ax scum bags
When you check out look at the bill. There are so many random fees, it's adds up way more than 10 dollars
For a sec I thought I time traveled
