It’s simple. Work very very hard in high school. Go to Princeton. Major in something real. Work 100 hours a week to become a senior VP at a large firm. Leave a $500k+ a year job. Ask your parents for $300k. Have a fantastic Take $80k a year in salary and reinvest everything else when you know you might damn well lose it all. Then, you earn the right to say no to whoever you want.
