I somehow got an interview at Amex for a job description that looks like a senior engineer, but I'm a more junior engineer. The job description doesn't list years of experience as a requirement. Is there a way to get down-leveled to a junior level engineer pre-interview? There's no way I'm turning down an interview from Amex. I was expecting to get a leetcode assessment pre-interview as well. YOE: 1.5 TC: 60k/year
Good luck with the interview
The interviewer ended the interview in 5 minutes after learning I don't have experience with Java, which I never claimed to have from the start.
Regardless that is good for both parties, since they don't waste your time.
