Hello all, Could you guys recommend some good system design books/references which use open source softwares instead of cloud solutions. I have seen lots of books in amazon but confused which book should be best for clearing basics. I dont want LB, Distributed cache books but more practical like designing navigation system of uber or designing hotstar. Thanks

I am in the same boat ...am so backwards on LC I can't even begin to think about finishing all dz..Blind gives hopes and takes away confidence both at the same time
Actually your practical Uber/hotstar are in fact load balancer + distributed cache + different services. The services part is the most boring and interviewers don't care much about it, they care more about storage systems and load balancing part.
