Any fb openings requiring <5 yoe?
Hi, Anyone working in FB knows about swe opening requiring <5 yoe. I recently got referral from my friend. I have 3 yoe. My referral advisor told me he is not able to find an opening requiring <5 yoe and asked me to find any such opening. I am not able to find from fb career site and some are outdated If anybody knows about such openings please let me know Thanks :)
What’s a referral advisor? Facebook’s job listings are on their site, you can search for listings you think you might be a match for right there.

What’s wrong with applying in December? This is the first time I’ve heard that.

I applied in August. Recuriter told me the same thing. She Reached out last week saying now they have openings.
Do you have to rush to get the job before the end of this year or is it okay if your process spills over to next year?
Yes I interviewed at a consulting firm for mid level, I didn't meet their bar. They would consider me for the junior role but they don't have junior openings at the time (BS)
They are actually low on < IC5 level headcount. Some even did the onsite but still don’t have headcount to move to “leadership review”. So OP’s friend may just tell the truth.
