Any iPhone X users with relatively newer apple watch ?
I have iPhone X and am not planning to upgrade since its working fine and I also like its design. I have series 7 for apple watch but I cannot update the watchOS to 10 since it says that the phone has to be on iOS 17. But apple has also stopped providing OS updates to iPhone X. It feels wrong. Just wanted to check if someone was able to find a solution for this ? I can add my watch to a phone with iOS 17 and then upgrade it and then remove and add to my iPhone not sure if that would run into issues. I thought in general apple would provide OS updates for 5 years for my watch but turns out not. It feels like they are trying to strong arm their customers to upgrade to a newer iPhone. So much for mother nature and climate change. #apple

That sucks. Maybe sell your old phone to reduce waste?
Naah.. i will probably stick to it for a year or 2 more. I like the way it looks n is working fine for me too. Just wanted to see if someone tried and found a way to upgrade watchOS. Not a big deal anyway.
Use Android?
I am too deep in their ecosystem right now. Probably would in the long run gradually
