Last three years have been horrible. Uncontrolled nepotism, incompetent decisions, and zero respect. Has anything changed recently?
It’s a cult like atmosphere. I’d get out when I can.
More details please
Yeah, get out while you can. Plano Intuit is going down soon.
More details please
You have to get along with really undesirable people and keep saying how awesome it is to work here and that everything is going well at all times. God forbid, you give a genuine code review, have an idea for a patent, have a suggestion to move to latest technology or do something innovative. If you voice your opinion, people usually try to steal credit or get threatened and try to kick you out for being smarter than them. Very well set environment for mediocre talent or people who want to retire.
In the last year Accountants (the core of the Plano office has been demoted from one of our top 3 customers to be a key partner. That’s all well and good but it also means Intuit doesn’t care as much. It’s really sad as Accountants are probably the most important customer the company has! Most of those peeps are in Plano.
Does that group ever produce useful product? I thought they mostly do maintenance. Link was a joke.
They just keep re-writing the same thing over and over and over. Current leadership is pretty much killing the division - they think rewriting everything in a different language is innovation. Hell, some of the architects can’t even put together a design document ( they don’t know how ). Last three years were some of the worst.
Any update on how it is there now?
PD? Police department? It's one of the best in country.
Sorry, wasn’t clear. Was intending to ask about Intuit Plano, TX office.
