Your choices are extremely limited, there's a few small funds that probably aren't hiring, a couple Blackrock teams, Voleon, and then Headlands is the only HFT shop.

Not true. There are smaller players with prop desk looking for talent all day long. Livevol was a product that came out 8-9 years ago out of similar small shop.
