Hi, snap folks, Any of you know the result of this pip cycle, is it quota?. Have heard some one got piped in 6 month while he worked 60-70 hrs/week. Reasons from his manager: 1. not delivery as fast as the rest of teammates, even meet the deadline, 2. should ramp up in 2wks, etc.. Not sure if this is due to the manager or its some pip quota applied. #pip #snap
Unfortunately misplaced effort can still result in pip. Choosing what to focus on is almost more important as how hard you work. It's why some can exceed expectations at 35hrs per week and others get pipped at 60.
But it makes no sense when you delivered in time.

the truth is most large companies have a pip quota including ms. there was probably pressure from above that his manager didnāt want to fight against
Looks like, hes manager who just switched from TL to manager due to the reorg
yeah an inexperienced manager can be a problem in these situations
