Any suggestion for the use of HSA money?

Live a healthy life and no need to see a doctor. Maybe use it in dental and vision?

save it, invest it, you'll need it when you get old

Agree. I essentially treat HSA as an extension of 401K as a way to let savings grow pre-tax

The best play is to pay medical expenses out of pocket and hold on to the receipts. The allow the money to grow (tax free). Years later, withdraw the money and deduct it from your taxes (keep the receipts in case of audit).

Also the older you get the more likely you'll have much higher medical bills... I'm wondering when they will catch on to the loophole you've pointed out.

Pandora x0kjF Sep 9, 2019

It's not a loophole, it's intended. That's why the contribution limit is so low. It's intended as a savings account, after all.

This. OP, maybe before posting on blind a) research how HSA works; b) accept the fact that one day will be old and sick and you will burn through that money in a day
