Any way to reset Tinder ranking?
Preface: I'm a dude in my 20s I first created my Tinder profile 3 years ago when I was fat and out of shape. My pictures were also just absolutely cringey when I look back at them. No wonder I didn't get any matches. I deleted my account after a month or two of no luck. I think I got swiped left almost always. I would too. My picks were REALLY F-ing bad I have since lost all of the fat and gained muscle 💪and look less like a neckbeard. I have been told I look good/handsome/sexy by ladies I've gone out with and lady friends. However even after deleting and creating a new profile multiple times now, I'm getting ZERO matches. This doesn't match the reaction I get in in-person interactions. What tipped me off about my ranking not resetting after deleting my account was that I recently randomly got a match "thanks to Tinder Boost" I tried Tinder Plus almost 2 years ago and have deleted my account twice since. Any way to reset the account completely?
Delete your Facebook account and make a new one. Or just use another app
YMMV, but I deleted my Tinder account a couple of months ago and rejoined just day before yesterday. They must have reset my ranking because I had about 17 matches in the last 48 hours (6 of them were bots). The matches were pretty high in the first few hours (Thursday night) and it has been quite slow since Friday noon. So definitely the deleting and rejoining worked. Note: Used the same FB account. Screenshot of a chat with a bot below. The exact same reply to those 4 lines, every time.
Off topic, but does tinder also ask you for you phone number during the registration? It doesn’t let me register without my cell number, though it did before. And I’m wary of sharing that info. 😳
@Amazon: Nope. Logged in with my FB auth and all it did was ask me for an email to verify. Had a burner email address and verified using it. At no point in time was I asked a phone number or in OP’s case...a state ID (that’s very weird, why would I need to furnish my state ID for Tinder?)
there is an option on tinder to reset all stats. look closely in account options. however i don’t think it matters much: most girl profiles there are fake, half of the rest is created to promote instagram, and the other half you swipe left. just go out in real life.
mostly scamming schemes. you match a girl, then she says she is another city and needs money to fly home. usually her mom days. that kind of stuff. many cam girls advertisements too.
Where is that opinion? I couldn't find it on Tinder iOS app.
No, facebook is asking for the ID
They have been doing that for a few years now if you set off their anti boy measures. I managed to get around it this time
Okay, so I managed to create a fake FB account, and also Tinder / Bumble accounts. I'll report back in a few days with if I really am ugly or Tinder was just cramping my style
FWIW, I get wayyyyyyy more matches on Hinge compared to Tinder. I’d say my success rate on Tinder is around 5%, but on Hinge it’s 75%. Almost every girl I “like” on Hinge matches with me
