Anyone buys their company stocks using ESPP?

Wondering why anyone wouldn't do that? That ain't free money basically? Buy 10% cheaper and then sell, there will be short term capital tax but still there would be profit right? Anyway amazon doesn't have ESPP.
What if stock price goes down? Wouldn't that be loss? Sorry for noob question
No because you can sell it the very day they are awarded to you. So at the minimum you will have 10% profit.
