Few of my teammates don’t do anything and just coast and vest and it gets frustrating as others have to pick up their slack and I’m getting sick of it. Worst of all these ppl get paid way more than me and are higher level… what would you do Tc 250
I don't mind them. Sets the bar low. Makes me look hardworking and smart, and hopefully keeps me safe from job cuts
Sorry, but being “hard-working” doesn’t get you anywhere 99% of time unless you’re a startup founder or early employee. In fact people will find you annoying.
@Toast: it can set you up for exploitation as well. Careful
They get paid more than you for a reason. Stop being a worker bee.
There is a statement for that "mind your own f***ing business"
There is no way to hide their output, so there is no need to snitch. Their manager already knows
Yes, even I have a teammate who eats a lot and doesn't put on any weight. I'm jealous of this type of people.
Sounds like they are better?
It’s likely they are providing value that you don’t see or recognise. Look at their contribution from alternative perspectives.
Yes. I am your teammate and I make more than you. Tc 400k. 10 hours a week.

I was once the top code committer by line count for a quarter at a faang. It hardly meant that i was the most productive or hardest working. It just so happened that i autogenerated "code" in a way that the version control was unaware of being autogenerated. Likewise your coworkers may likely be contributing in ways that you are ill equiped to quantify.
Nice take sir
