Dear Blind community, I joined Apple as a software engineer on H-1B transfer receipt and recently received a specialty occupation RFE. My lawyer requested me to provide more detailed info about my role and responsibilities so that she can prepare the RFE response. I just wanted to reach out and see there are any software engineers here who had similar situation and was able to get their transfer approved. Are there resources that I can look at to increase my chance of approval? Does including articles about the product that your working on or getting recommendation letter from your professor or high level industry professional help? Role: software engineer Yoe: 3 Education: BS in computer science from decent top 20 school in the US Location: Bay Area TC: 200k
Every company has roles and responsibilities listed out for Software Engineer levels. Review them and fill out the form
Also genrally for bachelors USCIS raises rfe more often just statistically saying ... if the response is well drafted with all the docs should not be a problem
When you say all the docs, do you mean supporting evidences such as recommendation letter, other similar resumes for my position, and etc?
Yes to justify the position requirements matches with your qualifications and background
Did you got approved after RFE...?
Did you get approval?
Did the job description mention a master's degree required?

'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
Lots of people get the RFE but if your degree really matches your job (seems to) you should be fine.
Hi, thanks for your response. Were you in a similar situation? If so, was it as simple as just filling out the form that your attorney gave you and letting him/her take care of it?
Not personally but I am a manager and have managed people who went through it. Attorney will collect whatever they need.
