As typically i get the spam mail on my LinkedIn from an Amazon recruiter. This one is a bit different. He says they have positions for almost 10 different locations (or even more) I tell him yeah let's go ahead but I want 3 of those locations. He says its fine and sends me 2 online coding questions and some simple questions. After this stage he contacts me for some clarification, then tells me to wait. Then some other recruiter from Amazon congratulates me for passing the first interview and asks me my suitable time to discuss about positions at Amazon Seattle. I tell my first recruiter again that i only want positions in those 3 locations he says maybe he can find... I don't really know what to say. My question is how can I interview for those locations? I'm aiming for SDE 2 level.
Do u want to pick some specific position from your preferred location and share with ur recruiter?
How do I do that? Amazon job page has loads of generic ads
Hm.. may be knowing the products that are developed from these locations would help. I know products like amazon business, last mile, scot are being developed from austin off the top my mind

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Tell the recruiter upfront that you are interested in only from those 3 locations. I am based out of Austin and i know few recruiters at location, will be happy to link you both over email if needed.
I already did initially and later on as well. For some reason he's not being helpful
